Track every net short position (Leerverkäufe) disclosed to Germany’s BaFin via Bundesanzeiger. Positions above 0.5% of issued share capital are publicly disclosed.
Bundesanstalt für Finanzdienstleistungsaufsicht (BaFin) requires institutional investors to publicly disclose their net short positions in listed issuers once those positions reach or exceed 0.5% of issued share capital. Each disclosure names the position holder, the target company (by name and ISIN), the size of the position, and the date.
We ingest BaFin disclosures daily and reconstruct the full history of every disclosed short position, so you can see who is building into a name, who is covering, and when positions crossed or fell below the disclosure threshold.
